Unsearched Rolls 3

  1. I've come to believe there is no such thing as an "unsearched" roll.

The closest you can get is buying new rolls from the U$ Mint, and they supposedly have been looked at for quality control.

Even the rolls I inherited after my Father had passed were "searched". As will be the rolls I leave behind.

There are rolls that were put up X number of years ago that may have something that is valuable now. Always nice to find!

There are Coin Service Rolls that we play the 1/5/50 cent game with.

There is the "Salted" roll, a constant thorn posted for sale on FleaBay. (there is something born every minute, so says PT Barnum )

Then there is the best... the Spiteful Widow Roll. You have to be at the right place at the right time to catch this one! The next best thing would be to marry a Teller, or work as a teller. But, then you know the story on the Widow Roll from reading Coinflation.org

Nice site you got going here!

  2. Thanks for the comment C.J. It's been a little while since I my last roll hunting expedition. But you really covered all the ways someone can go out and look for rare finds in circulation.

Thanks for checking out my site!
