Nickels can be a fun denomination to roll hunt. Pre-1961 coins are still fairly common. And if you're lucky you may also find a War Nickel or Buffalo Nickel. I didn't get so lucky in this round of roll hunting, but it's still fun.
I also understand that it's a numbers game, and that desirable nickels are still out there. But when you don't find any in a box or two, it really can test your metal. ;)
